Cost analysis and comparison tools for small communities

Cost analysis and comparison tools for small communities

Following on from Jim Kelly's seminar, this session will evaluate community options for decentralized wastewater treatment systems as they apply to desired planning and sustainable development, affordability and long term viability.
The on-site wastewater industry has conducted extensive case studies and previously dveloped cost assessment tools.
It is very important to correctly size treatment units and application areas. both for domestic and commercial wastewater or a mix of both.

Before you sign on that contract bottom line, have you taken a really hard look at your geography, your current and future predicted economy and the demongraphic population trends for your area?
Wishing and hoping - the 'if you build it they will come' belief only applies in Hollywood and baseball!

WasteWater Education has been preaching responsible development and systems management for almost 20 years.

With so many tools available it continues to baffle us why they are not more widely known about - and more importantly used!
Why is that?
Community cost assessments are they key, but, perhaps of more importance, is how to talk to your consituents and find consensus.

Independent. Impartial. We provide access to information to empower sustainable, local, wastewater decision making.
